Kaho Ito
My recent works are illustrations, sculptures, and face masks. Each work emerges from my personal memories and stories, exploring whether I can establish a path of "empathy" among the people who see it. The topics vary from small curiosity in daily life, to relationship problems I have with the external. I continue to produce my works as a ritual; to articulate my indescribable emotions into a physical form, seeking external connections.
